The first-ever journal submission based on the work done in NeuRLab happened! Jongwon has been working on quantitative analysis and computational modeling to dissociate need and motivation using neural data collected in Dr. Hyung Jin Choi’s lab. It was a fun collaboration. Fingers crossed!
Jongwon and Mijoo presented at KSBNS 2023. Mijoo won a poster presentation award. Congrats!

Nawoon, SeungYub, Hoyeon, and HyungGoo submitted an application for registering a domestic patent, which is the first-ever submission event for review in the lab. Fingers crossed!
We were awarded K-Brain Project (뇌과학 선도융합기술개발사업) team grant for our proposal entitled “Development of neural in silico model for PTSD with incorporation of multi-modal data”! We will focus on developing deep-learning models that can explain animal and human data.
We were awarded basic research (기본연구) grant for our proposal entitled “Investigating neural information processing in the lateral habenula using virtual reality”!
